Tuesday's Design Team Inspiration

Morning bloggers! Today's inspiration comes from our Creative Expressions Designers John Lockwood and Elizabeth Borer. Have a look below to see what they came up with.

For you...from John Lockwood

How to use the Creative Expressions Orange Blossom Range

Using our shaded Orange Blossom die and stamp set, John's latest creation showcases an intricate floral design, with shimmering pearls in a beautiful springtime blue. Perfect to send with birthday wishes, or as a little note to make a special someone smile.

John has used the Ornate Octagon Die Striplet to create the ornate flower motif for the background and finished off with pearls placed in the centre of each flower.

To make the flower bouquet in the corner, John used the Orange Blossom Complete Petals and Orange Blossom Leaves die's and detailed them with the Orange Blossom Flower and Leaf stamp.

How to use more than one Creative Expressions stamp design

Liz has stamped the background using the Alexandra's Tea Rose design and reused this to create a feature design, which she then coloured in.

Using our Sea Garden Embossing Folder, Liz stamped a dancing reed design to create movement up to the highlighted feature. To make the stamp really pop she has lightly rubbed some Bronze Gilding Wax which will give the card a subtle shimmering glow.

Adding a lace trim, has broken up the 2 stamp designs beautifully and gives a three-dimensional look. So don't be afraid to team more than one product from our range to make beautiful, unique designs.

INSPIRATION ALERT! How about using more than one colour from our Cosmic Shimmer Blending Inks range. Using one of our smoothies will ensure a perfect blend. Have a look here at the various colours
