New DT Member & Crafting My Style!

Morning Crafters!

Today is a busy one in terms of things to share with you! We will see the introduction of another member of our Design Team,  Rushanne Young as well as makes from Pam Smith and Donna Ratcliff and a new episode of Crafting My Style with Sue Wilson - wow, what a great day!!

So, with that said, let's introduce you to Rushanne Young!

Introducing Rushanne Young:

Rushanne is super happy to be joining the team, as she loves nothing more than creating a sharing (as do we!). As a stay at home mum, Rusanne has plenty of time to dedicate to her favourite pastime; crafting!

Visit Rushanne's blog to find out more about her.

Introduce yourself briefly...   Hello, I'm a craftaholic living in Suffolk and I'm very happy to be joining the Creative Expressions Design Team.

How did you get into crafting?     I grew up in a creative household with lots of encouragement from my family.

How would you describe your style? Varied, I like to try different styles and techniques to stretch myself.

Where do you draw inspiration from? All the amazing crafters around me, either in person or via the web.

What's your favourite crafting tool at the moment? My die cutting machine.

If you were a toothbrush, what colour would you be? Blue

Tell us a random fact about yourself... I used to cut goose eggs with a hacksaw and then turn them into trinket boxes.

If your house was on fire, what's the first thing you would save from your craft room?     Oh that's a hard question to answer.........my die storage folder.

What is the first thing you grab from your kitchen to take crafting with you to eat/drink?     A mug of hot tea.

Crafting My Style with Sue Wilson

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow... Today's offering is a beautiful sparkly Christmas card, using the Let it Snow Die from the Festive Collection of Sue's range of Craft Dies. This is an absolutely STUNNING card by Sue, and really encapsulates the spirit of winter.

All The Flowers by Pam Smith

The flowers on this project are just divine! This is a real dazzler, and is sure to stop people in their tracks every time they pass by!

Pam has created the detailed embellishments using the Craft Dies by Sue Wilson. The stamped frame at the back is made using the Curled Frame Stamp.

Why not visit Pam's blog and see how to make one yourself?

Start with Yourself by Donna Ratcliff

To end our shares today, we have this beautiful make by Donna Ratcliff - isn't it just so lovely?

Donna has used the Wrought Iron Frame to create the centrepiece for this make. The colours are lovely and vintage and set off really nicely with the Grosgrain ribbon!

Visit Donna's blog to find out more...

Thanks for stopping by today, we hope you have enjoyed all of the lovely makes we have shared with you today (and of course the introduction of Rushanne Young!). Tomorrow, we will be introducing our final new member to the team, Tina Eldridge.

Welcome to your newest member. Oh wow, how beautiful is that wall art, and the card is really beautiful, just my style. Cant wait to see Tina's intro tomorrow, I know she is quite nervous but her work is truly outstanding. What an asset to the CE team.
