Call for New Design Team Members!

It's that time of the year again, when we are looking to recruit a new team of passionate crafters to join our elite team of crafters and become part of the Creative Expressions Design Team (CEDT).

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
There are some fantastic perks and benefits to becoming a member of our highly esteemed Design Team. As a member you will:-

1. Be given a crafting start kit. This kit will feature a great selection of Creative Expressions/Cosmic Shimmer products to get you started. This will be given to you at the start of your term.
2. Be given free training on how to use the Creative Expressions & Cosmic Shimmer products (training to be held at our offices in Kettering).
3. Receive a set of Creative Expressions Stamps each month (absolutely free), as well as a selection of other NEW crafting goodies to work with to create your weekly projects.
4. Receive a fantastic 25% discount on all products that are available through Creative Expressions. This is available for the duration of your term. This discount only applies to RRP of products and is only applicable when ordering from Creative Expressions directly.
5. Enjoy regular links to your blog from the Creative Expressions Facebook page, Twitter feed, Blog & the DT wall on Pinterest.
6. Join in the Creative Expressions Blog Hops, which are designed to showcase new products from Creative Expressions, as well as boost your own follower figures.
7. Receive a CEDT 2014/15 badge to proudly display on your blog &/or website.
8. Have your creations showcased on the Creative Expressions website, marketing materials & social media channels.
9. Be given the opportunity to make samples for upcoming shows on Create & Craft TV.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We want to work with enthusiastic and versatile paper craft artists who love creating beautifully executed projects. The ideal DT member is original in their creativity and has a good eye for photography when showing off their work - as good presentation of your projects is essential when showing it off to the rest of the crafting community!

To be eligible for the CEDT, we ask that you:-

1. Have an active following on a blog and post at least once a week.
2. Can produce 1 x CEDT project per week, posting it on your blog and any other social media (we will post your designs directly to our social media channels on your behalf to promote your work).
3. Actively promote Creative Expressions (and any subsidiary companies) on your blog, crafting forums and any other social media channels - and link back to the Creative Expressions website where appropriate.
4. Can produce 1 x Inspirational Project Worksheet per month (which will be featured in our regular Inspirational Workshop Newsletter that is circulated to our retailer database - this can be one of your weekly projects - we just need a write up and photos). A template will be supplied.

HOW DO YOU ENTER?
To apply for this DT call, we would like you to prepare 3 projects that best typify your creativity and crafting ability.

To do this, we would like you to submit THREE projects to us, as follows:-

1. A project that you have designed and created using cutting dies.
2. A project that you have designed and created using stamps and stamping techniques.
3. The DT Challenge - each year, we set a challenge to all applicants with a specific theme. This year, the theme for the DT Challenge is "Memories of Summer" (see below for more details on what is required).

DT Call Challenge; "Memories of Summer"
Taking part in the occasional challenge will be a part of the CEDT members' role (such as Blog Hops or preparing makes to appear on Create & Craft). Therefore, we would like you to take part in this mini challenge as part of the selection process.

The theme for the DT Challenge is "Memories of Summer". 

The rules are simple! All we would like you to do is create a project using any style of paper craft that you best suits you using rubber stamping and sticking to a Summer theme!

You don't have to use Creative Expressions Stamps in your entry, but being familiar with our Stamps is a definite plus.


SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION
To apply for this DT call, please email sarah@creative-expressions.uk.com with the subject line "DT Entry: <Insert name>". Please ensure you include the following in your email:-

1. High Resolution Photos of your 3 x projects
2. A short summary of why you would like to join the CEDT
3. A link to your blog

Please note that applicants from the UK & Ireland are welcome. 

CLOSING DATE
The closing date for entries is Wednesday, 24th September 2014 at 5pm (BST).

Entries will be short-listed and applicants may be required to post their projects directly to us at the final stages of selection (we will then post them back to you).

The successful candidates will then be selected by our judging panel.

Winners will be notified by email and then announced on the Creative Expressions News Blog and Facebook Page at a later date.
