Creating with MDF

Our design team have been busy creating with some of our MDF products, mixing it with our Cosmic Shimmer Gilding polish, Cosmic Shimmer paints and Ranger ink pads. Here are some creations for your home or even cards to give to a loved one.

    Thursdays Design Team Inspiration

    To a Special Friend from Lisa Horton



    A clean and simple card from our design team member Lisa today using the Just Rite Pin Wheel Daisy Stamps creating this zen doodle design. Use the Tim Holtz Distress Markers to colour in any of our stamps to create a simple card like this. Our Camellia Ring Elements sentiments is perfect for those special friends.

    Pop up bouquet box from Tracey Loughton

     
    What a fabulous creation from our in house designer, Tracey. This quirky card would definitely stand out on anyone's mantelpiece. We love how she has combine the open and closed Orange Blossom Petal dies to create these full flowers.

    Who said all card making had to be feminine. This is a great card to give that man who loves travel combining our aviation and nautical theme stamps. Liz has used embossing powders to raise the stamps and give them a shimmer.

    Wednesday's Design Team Inspiration


    Thinking of you from Tracey Laughton



    Our in house designer Tracey Laughton has made this beautiful easel card using our pretty Dandelion Mini Striplet Stamp. We love it! To make this easel style just use some backing foam to create a step on the base for the card to rest. You can write your message on the back of the card or use sentiments, like Tracey has done here with this flag. Browse all our sentiments here

    Age is just a number from John Lockwood


    We love how John has used our dies to create this intricate detailed look. Another favourite from our design team this month is our Orange Blossom range. You can make these great 3D flowers with our dies and stamps.

    If you wanted to make different style 3D flowers why not try the Sue Wilson Peonies Complete Petals die. Curving and layering the flowers make them really pop off the card, you can use our Gold Gilding Wax to highlight the edges.

    Congrats from Sharon Curtis


    Today's design inspiration comes from, design team member, Sharon Curtis. This card would be perfect for those newly weds. The heart embellishment and gold tones just sets off this elegant style. You could also change the sentiment by using the Creative Expressions Petite Lavish Sentiments or the colour of the card from our range of Foundation Card

    Pretty pastel from Debbie Stevens




    Debbie has created this pretty pastel window card, which could be used for many different occasions. The Noble Square Die Set has been used to frame the Orange Blossom Leaves and the centre piece adds texture, to make the card really stand out.

    Nothing says Happy Easter like this design from America. What a clever way to use the Sue Wilson Weaving die to create this wicker basket effect and our Frames & Tags- Hannah die to make these colourful Easter Eggs.

    This simple and chic card is perfect for those spring birthdays. Lynn has used the John Lockwood Stitched Heart Stamp to create the background and the Sue Wilson Happy Birthday die to give a 3D effect.
