In this episode, Sue Wilson will show you how to make an elegant and simple card, featuring a pop of exquisite colour to really catch the eye!

Using her set of Craft Dies, Sue Wilson is using the Magical Butterflies Die from the Finishing Touches collection in this free video tutorial - we hope you enjoy it!

This is a really elegant project by Kim Robertson! 

The colours are really striking, and the Faux Quilled Leaves really set this make off with their two tone effect.

John Next Door & Watch It Wednesday

Morning Everyone,

Well, it's Wednesday today, which means we have a 'Watch it Wednesday' for you to enjoy. This week, our 'Watch it Wednesday' will show you how to work with the lovely Cosmic Shimmer Gilding Flakes.

Also this Wednesday, we have another stunning project from John Lockwood!

Additionally, we have now chosen to the new Creative Expressions for 2014/15 - we had lots of fabulous entries, and it has been really difficult to choose who to invite on to the team (it's a shame we can't just have everyone!). Anyway, we will be revealing who will be on the new DT shortly, and will introduce them with a fun Q&A for you, so make sure you keep coming back to find out more.

There is no doubt that any recipient of this magnificent make would be hugely appreciative of all the time and effort that has gone into its making.

Opening up this make is almost like going on an adventure, as there is the mystery as to what's inside....

Monday Morning Magic

Morning Everyone!

Hope you are all well and had a fabulous weekend! We are big fans of Strictly Come Dancing at Creative Expressions, so enjoyed tuning in on Saturday to see the celebrities do their best/worst on the dance floor!

Just to keep you in the loop, the judging for the DT has been postponed, so we will hopefully be completing the next round of judging next week - we will keep you posted with news as more is revealed.

Crafting My Style with Sue Wilson & John Lockwood!

Hello Everyone!

It's the middle of the week already, so that means we have our weekly make from our new (and very talented) DT member, John Lockwood. Once again, John has been getting festive with the new Craft Dies by Sue Wilson, so scroll down to see what magic he has created for us this week!

We also have a new episode of Crafting My Style to unveil for you. Crafting My Style is a series of free tutorial videos featuring Sue Wilson. In the series, Sue creates a different project for each episode to help inspire you on working with her new Craft Dies. It's easy to subscribe to the Creative Expressions YouTube channel, and there are over 100 videos on there (and we are currently filming more!).

Also, in our news today, we have closed our call for a new Creative Expressions Design Team. We have received so many fantastic entries from so many talented crafters, that once again, it has been a really difficult decision to make. We have managed to short-list the applicants down to the next round, and judging will hopefully take place on Friday, so we should be able to announce our new Design Team shortly!

On a separate note, we have a Creative Expressions Stamping Show with Julia Watts coming up tomorrow (Thursday, 2nd October at 9am & 3pm) - so don't forget to record it if you aren't going to be around :)

Crafting My Style with Sue Wilson:

Sue is back for another episode of Crafting My Style. In this episode, Sue is making this beautiful 'Diagonal Channel Technique' Card, that shows you how to double up on your Craft Dies to give your projects a completely different look (it's amazing how versatile these Dies are!).

This is a free tutorial video, so get the kettle on and sit back and enjoy. Hopefully Sue will provide you with some inspiration for your own makes... :)

Well it's John Lockwood's turn to share his weekly DT project with us, and he is still on a festive theme.... this is another beautiful project created using the Vintage Bauble Craft Die to create the centre piece. The background has been embossed using the Large Quilted Flower Embossing Folder!
