April 2017 Release LAUNCH DAY

Easter Craft Ideas & Inspiration

Hello crafters!

Who else has started their Easter crafting?! We have lots of cute bunny Die Cuts from the Creative Expressions Craft Dies by Sue Wilson Kinetics Collection Easter Basket Die. We've opted from the Easter bonnets to make these cute Easter baskets, perfect to fill with sweets and other trinkets as gifts.

Easter is a great opportunity to try out all your Cosmic Shimmer stash in a different way, take a look at how you can use the Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Kiss, Gilding Polish and Pixie Powders to create these cute Easter eggs, ideal to brighten up your Easter egg hunt. Take a look at some inspiration below.

Use Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders and the shaving foam technique to create this marbled effect. Watch the technique video here: Pixie Powder and Shaving Foam Video 

Mask off patterns and colour in using Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Kiss.

Why not use Cosmic Shimmer Metallic Gilding Polish and create these simple yet chic easter eggs, use a Sakura Gelly Roll Glaze Pen in white or black to add extra detail.

We just love these simple Zentangled style eggs, just paint the egg with Cosmic Shimmer Acrylic Paint and use a Sakura Pigma Micron Pen and get doodling.

Give your project the kiss of Glitter

Hello crafters,

We are pleased to bring you a brand new product from Cosmic Shimmer, Glitter Kiss. This product is a water based glitter product in a glue like substance. i know what you're thinking, its Gilding Polish but glitter, you could say on the outside it looks like this, as it is homed in the same packaging with it own sponge applicator, however it is very different. Here are a few ways you can use this amazing new product. Trust me, once you try it, you will want to kiss all your projects with glitter.

1. Highlight Embossed card with instant Glitter

One of the most favorite looks to use your new Cosmic shimmer Glitter Kiss, run your card with an embossing folder then using long strokes, with the sponge, cover with glitter.

    2. Use with Stencils and Masks 

Another way to use your Mini Stencils or Masks, create glittery backgrounds and designs. 

   3. Stamp happy 

We are so excited about this one, completely unintentional, Glitter Kiss can actually stamp very intricate stamp designs.

CARD MAKING WORKSHOP
with Julia Watts 7th June 2017 at Creative Expressions

In this all day workshop you will create 6 projects to take home with you, all with a masculine theme. If you always struggle for card inspiration for the men in your lives then this workshop will help you turn your craft stash into something even more versatile. Julia Watts will be hosting a workshop here at Creative Expressions HQ on 7th June, 10am-4pm. The inspirational workshop, priced at £50, will allow you try out Woodware Stamps, Creative Expressions Rubber Stamps, various Cosmic Shimmer products and a little die cutting.
